A Cheery Bit
02/05/2021
Well . . . winter has finally arrived here in Michigan
(I figured it would show up eventually).
And we got the "package deal" . . .
Plenty of snow.
Ice underneath.
Howling wind.
Temperatures in the single digits.
But I'm warm inside, and I've got these to bring me cheer . . .
Wherever you are - and whatever your weather - I hope your weekend brings YOU something cheery!
See you next week.
Oh my! What a bit of beauty there. Happy Weekend Kym!!

What a dreamy combination you have there, as I sit here--still--in the 'beige' of this winter! Not only absolutely gorgeous blooms you have there, but beautifully photographed. Stay cozy!

These are gorgeously cheery! I've got four amaryllis bulbs that have grown leaves, but no signs of buds yet. I may show your photos to mine to spur them on and show them what they can become. Enjoy a cheery (hopefully warming) weekend!

Ditto here, minus those gorgeous blooms!! Have a cozy weekend!

They are BEAUTIFUL, especially the first one. ENJOY!

Beautiful specimens! Always forget to buy Amarylilis bulbs, although with my black thumb they probably wouldn't bloom anyway. Used to live in the Snow Belt. Loved how feeling cozy inside made me want to knit.

The snow we were supposed to get Tuesday was almost all rain but we've got a storm on tap for tomorrow and they are predicting 6-9 for us. I'm hoping the silver lining is that people will stay home instead of gathering to watch the Super Bowl. Your amaryllis are stunning, I love the pinks. Remind me next year to NOT get a red one.

Those are beauties! I especially love the one with the red edging! Stay safe!

They're stunning! I hope those blooms last a while to continue to bring you some joy!

we actually had some "snow" last night and I am very grateful for the cheery inside! (also, sigh. my amaryllis is likely not even gonna bloom for Valentines Day)
