Every Damn Day
Sometimes Mondays

Welcome, Friday!

Let's TGIF, shall we?

T - Thinking about . . . I'm still considering my plans and goals for 2019.  I usually stretch out my reviewing/planning process through the whole month of January.  Not only is it something I really enjoy doing (the reflecting back and the thinking ahead), but I think a broad time horizon gives me better perspective and really allows me to carefully consider what I feel like doing in the year ahead.  (Besides . . . January.  Not the most action-packed month of the year.)

G - Grateful for . . . Despite the fact that it is now crammed with January People, I am grateful for my gym.  It offers pretty much something for everyone, and lots of somethings for me.  I've made a lot of friends at the gym - which makes it a fun place to be, I've been challenged to try new (hard) things - which makes it good for my heart and soul, and I've always got plenty of workout options - which makes it easy to stay motivated.

I - Inspired by . . . I just started a new semester of art classes.  And this time . . . I decided to take TWO.  (This is an experiment; we'll have to see how this goes.)  I'm taking a drawing class AND a watercolor class.  Usually I just do one or the other, but this time, I couldn't resist.  (Now that I have a tidied-up art space, I'll have no excuses for not getting my homework finished, that's for sure!)

F - Fun . . . I have a movie date with Tom this afternoon!  It's almost Oscar-time, and there are lots of great movies to see right now.  (It's the best time of year at the movie theater.  Have you seen any good movies lately?)

Happy Friday, friends!  What's in store for you this weekend?

Well Ihad hoped for a movie this weekend but hubby is not feeling too well. I am looking forward to a haircut tomorrow. Maybe a bit of shopping. The weekend will be sunny and warm here in Fl. so perhaps some reading at the pool.

Those pencils are so colorful! and two classes - yay for you. I bet you have fun. We did see The Favourite which we both really liked. That's it so far. I'm looking forward to the weekend. It's cold here (12:30 p.m. and it is still in the 20's), but the sun is out.

So many options with Sunday all to myself! I'd love a movie, maybe Trader Joe's which is a bit of a ride but a treat and hopefully lots of reading. xoxo

I'm jealous of those art classes, just so you know. Have fun with Tom at the movies!

So far my knitting is on my agenda for the weekend. Contemplating a haircut....
should be nice and quiet

We've seen the Marys so far -- Mary Queen of Scots and Mary Poppins Returns! I'll likely see at least the Best Picture nominees at this years Best Picture Festival! Oscar time is going to come up quick.

Loving the photo of your colored pencils.

Up for me ..... coffee/knit/lunch visit with Vera and then hunkering down for the impending snow storm with some plans for a big pot of chili.

I want to see all the costume dramas! I'm also envious of your art classes. Wish we had something like that around here. The pencils on a tray has given me an idea of how my art space might work! TGIF!

I predict that those 2 classes will greatly enrich your start of 2019!! I can't wait to see what you are inspired to make! Happy weekend!

Got a chuckle out of the "January People" reference. So funny. Two art classes sounds like a worthy adventure. You can always play hooky occasionally if it gets too much. Loved "Green Book" and the Melissa McCarthy movie. Looking forward to the two Mary's. Already planning popcorn and ice cream for the Oscars. I use trays a lot. Looks like you are in for some fun times, Kym! Chloe

oh my .... all the colored pencil LOVE! do you buy them as singles or a set? I've been using my pencils more lately and sometimes I need more than the 24 I have :-)

Oh man those colored pencils cry out to be used. Best wished for fun, joy, and plenty of creative spirits in your classes.
