. . . looks like blooms from the garden.
One of the little things I like to do in the summer . . . is wander through my garden, creating simple bouquets from whatever catches my eye. On Saturday, I was charmed by my oak leaf hydrangeas, just beginning their show.

I rarely cut many of my flowers for bouquets because they don't last very long in summer's heat, but that also means that I don't get to enjoy them quite as much. It may be time to spread the beauty around and appreciate the flowers in lots of locations!

Beautiful bouquet. Like you I use vintage and just ordinary glass jars for vases in the summer.
