Jiving Us That We Were VooDoo
It's Showtime!

I Can't Help Myself

Soundtrack . . .

So, my knitting has languished . . . since about October.

I'm knitting a sweater, and I know I'm going to love it when it's finished.  But right now . . . it's turned into a slog.

It's kind of like . . . eating your vegetables.

You know it's good for you.

But sometimes . . . you just want a treat!

Gale Zucker's Trip Mitts turned out to be just the sweet-treat I needed.

Sugar pie, honey bunch.

I can't help myself.  (Because you can't eat just one. . . )

Perfect - I love that little zip of color!

Nice analogy, Kym! I love vintage rockers, and the mitts are definitely sweet!

Those are great! I need to make a pair, too. I think 2016 is going to be the year of hand knit accessories over at Carole Knits.

I'm in exactly the same place! However, I've finished my second mitt and must face up to my sweater. Your mitts look so warm and cozy! (Have you heard of Leon Bridges? I think you'd like his style.)

Looking away from your mitt...looking at my sweater...looking away! They're pretty fabulous though!

I've knit three of those mitts, and have plans for more, but am concentrating knitting efforts on my Scoreboard KAL. Because, YES, knitting takes effort right now!! ;)

What a great mitt - gray with a pop of color is my favorite this time of year! Sweater slogs can be long and ... sloggish ... a good diversion is just the thing!

LOVE them! So happy you like the pattern. I just grabbed some yarn for another pair while traveling this weekend...though now that I see your grey ones, I kind of want some too.

At least if they are a distraction from other projects, they are done so quickly it hardly counts.
