Some Days Really Need Color . . . and Poetry

Don't Let it Get Away

One of the things I love most about Spring . . . is seeing the spectrum of colors as the trees begin to leaf out.  Looking out over the landscape as I'm out walking or driving is such a treat at this time of year.  So many shades of green . . .

Silvery
Lime
Sage
Forest
Chartreuse
Grass
With shades of red for good measure

A feast for my winter-weary eyes . . . a beautiful day!

I knit this great-for-warmer-weather shawl - with those same beautiful, leafing-out colors - while I was on vacation.

The colors just scream . . . SPRING . . . to me!

It's a beautiful day . . . don't let it get away!

I haven't seen that pattern and it's so beautiful they way it swoops and moves in an organic way. The design could be leaves, or waves, or clouds. Love your color, too as it looks great on you!

Patty

Beautiful work! (And I'd like to borrow that outfit...;-)

Vicki

Lovely!! Things are greening up here, but not much in the way of leaves yet except for one leafed-out grove we passed last night... some of us blinked and missed it!

Cool pattern. And I, too, think I love that outfit. ;)

Nice work, and lovely coordination with your outfit!
You look GREAT!

Maureen

She's very beautiful...and the shawl is quite lovely, also!

Shirley

I love the greens of spring too. There is just nothing like those fresh colors popping out.
