Truth Be Told
Three Things on a Thursday at the Tail End of January

One Little Word . . . 2014

2014 marks the fourth year I've taken part in the One Little Word project.

I love choosing a word (or - maybe - having it choose you!) . . .

and then seeing what happens as a result.

This year, it's all about . . .

I'm really looking forward to . . . making possibility . . . more visible in my life.

Although I don't "do" scrapbooking (and just ignore the product lists and step-by-step, create-a-scrapbook portions of the monthly workshop), I do enjoy following along with the monthly prompts and letting myself get inspired - in my own way.  (I tend to just journal - sometimes with embellishment - as I follow along with the prompts.)

In January, I loved spending time . . . getting to know my word.

Finding quotes.

And otherwise inspiring myself for the work ahead.

I have always loved Emily Dickinson's poems, and this year, she's going to be my inspiration!  I plan to . . . dwell in possibility.

Excellent word! Because the world is full of possibilities. We just have to notice them!

This word is perfect for you. Your journals must be fun to look back on and see where you were and how it fits the now. This word fits you perfectly.
I've thought about one word for a couple of years and haven't been inspired to join, but this year a word spoke to me and it may (unofficially) be my word...GROW!

First of all, YAY I finally figured out how to be allowed to comment!

I think this is a most excellent choice for a word. It is truly something that can be part of every single day in so many ways.

I agree with Margene - a perfect word for you! I'd love it if there was the possibility of seeing you this year.

I've unofficially adopted GO as my one little word this year. I'll take a look at your link though. It may be just what I need to get that journal out of my bag and back into action!

I love it! look forward to seeing where this OLW takes you. (and to our February prompt!)
