we had a bit of an ice storm here on Saturday night.

I took my camera out and . . . carefully . . . captured my coated surroundings.

First, in my own backyard. . .

By mid-afternoon, the ice was melted.

Today . . . a little snow.

(It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!)

That last shot is gorgeous! Take it easy out there...and enjoy the beauty all around.

Winter announced herself with full voice! At least she knows how best to show her beauty.

Ice storm in Michigan? Now I know why Elder Son did not arrive yesterday as promised.

Cookie

So beautiful!

Bonny

Treacherous traveling but really lovely!

Marilyn

Ice is beautiful...but dangerous. I hope your electricity didn't go off!
Merry Christmas to you and your whole family!

It's beautiful but dangerous - glad you were careful! We've had nothing but rain and it washed away all of our snow. No white Christmas for us this year.

Mary

my favorite way to enjoy that winter wonderland is through photos - and yours are beautiful!

Vicki

So beautiful! Dangerous, but my youngest sister was born on the day after an ice storm and I have good memories associated with that.
