P-Update: In Tandem

So.

My backyard is a mess.

My hostas are shredded.

I've had to unplug the fountains in my little ponds.

My kitchen throw rugs are shredded.

I've had to remove all pillows and throws from the armchairs.

We're always tripping over squeak toys, tennis balls, and soggy rawhide chews.

I don't dare get out my knitting.

But.

We do have this.

Yes.

I can walk both dogs in tandem!

It's a bit of a risk.  (Because the weight of both dogs combined = my weight.)  But we managed for 2 miles last night.  Only one little . . . moment.  (Quickly passed.)

Life is good.

(Treats were involved.)

It sounds like you may be the one who most deserves treats!

Awesome! And we've got shredded rugs, the discovery of laundry and bathroom trash, and as you know, the demise of Doug's circular garden. BUT he's cute!

Ah, the joys of a new puppy. With your commitment she'll get there. The joy out weights the bad, right?

Carole

Progress is good! Be careful, though. My cousin's wife was walking her two dogs and they took off after a squirrel, flipped her over, and she broke her arm. Dogs that outweigh you can be dangerous!

Cookie

Have you thought of putting them on a tandem harness? Might be easier to walk them so you're not holding two leads in one hand. Just a thought.

I hope she outgrows the puppy nonsense sooner rather than later.

Hope the joy of puppydom outweighs the mess! Is she a yellow lab? I'm thinking of the book/movie "Marley and Me"! o.0

that's great exercise for all three of you! hope the puppy chews go away soon!

Sweet puppies outweigh much. I only have cats and they shredded my furniture. I'd rather have dogs anyday.

Kind of an Ebony & Ivory pair, aren't they?
