It's easy to feel gratitude.   The trick . . . is to express gratitude.

This month, make an extra effort to reach out . . . to let someone know you feel grateful.

  • Send a handwritten note.
  • Return a favor.
  • Listen carefully.
  • Offer support.
  • Smile.
  • Say "thank you."  Out loud.

 

Gratitude is the inward feeling of kindness received.  Thankfulness is the natural impulse to express that feeling.  Thanksgiving is the following of that impulse.
