Those Smilin' Irish Eyes

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
As you might imagine, we take St. Patrick's Day seriously here at the Mulhern household! (Where I am the least Irish of the bunch. . .) I'm making Guinness Beef Stew and Soda Bread for dinner. As for a beverage? Well. . . what do you think?
Woo Hoo!

Happy St. Patty !
Please drink some Guinenss for me too, the flight made me forget the date and now I am too tired to go out for it!

May you always have
Walls for the winds,
A roof for the rain,
Tea beside the fire,
Laughter to cheer you,
Those you love near you,
And all your heart might desire, including a gigantic yarn stash.
May those who love us, love us
And those who don’t love us,
May God turn their hearts
And if he can’t turn their hearts,
May he turn their ankles
So we will know them by their limping!

I knew my st. patty is somehow wrong, but st. Paddy didn't want to appear in my memory,,, hehehehe,,, the jet lag (now I can blame it for a few days!)

We had corned beef and cabbage (courtesy of a local diner) but your Guinness beef stew sounds divine.

We're not Irish but we celebrated the day with Guinness as well. Why not? Actually, we celebrate quite a few days with Guinness, truth be told!!!
