Sippin' the Summer Away

It's summer.  (Finally.)

The perfect time . . . for a cold drink on a hot day.

Preferably on the patio.

With my feet up.

My Ten Favorite Summer Beverages:

  1. Water with a slice of lemon.
  2. Fresh-squeezed lemonade.
  3. An ice cold Arnold Palmer.
  4. Iced tea.
  5. SanPellegrino.
  6. Gin and tonic.
  7. Oberon.
  8. A nice, hoppy IPA.
  9. A glass of Chardonnay.
  10. Sangria.

How about YOU?  What are your favorite summer beverages?

Great drink suggestions. The best suggestion is enjoying them all with your feet up and relaxed!

Nothing beats water, but I like everything on your list!

Ooh, yeah. Love everything on your list! Katie brought some Elderflower Edinburgh Gin at Christmas time and I had Lavender gin *in* Edinburgh and, oh, I am all about the infusions! I haven't tried any of Bell's beers, but see they are carried in a few places close to me and I will have to look closer. I can drink -- and enjoy -- many types of beer, but I'm definitely partial to the hoppy brews.

It's a shame that I can't abide the taste of gin. I'm with you on everything else, though!

I LOVE good lemonade!
So simple, yet, so hard to find a good one when
you're out.
I'm a pinot noir(aka colored white wine)girl. ;-)

What a great list! But the best line was drinking that great drink on the patio with your feet up. We all need to do that more!

Got to get that Sangria thing figured out! Great list and I'll be over with the chardonnay!

love your list...and agree that just about anything tastes like summer when you're on the porch with your feet up. I've never heard of Oberon...must investigate!

My entire list is comprised of mimosas. That's allowed, right?
