Remember this one?*
Sometimes, as a Knitter, I find it hard to be True to Just One Project. You know. Knitting away. Day in. Day out. Looking at that same old. . . pile of stitches. Hearing the same old . . . knits and purls. Becoming familiar with . . . every inch.
Will you love me? Will you love me forever?
Will you need me? Will you never leave me?
Let me sleep on it.
Baby, baby.
Let me sleep on it.
Will you make me so happy for the rest of my life?
I gotta know RIGHT NOW.
And when a feeling came upon me like a tidal wave, I started praying to my god and on my mother's grave that I would love you to the end of time.
I swore that I would love you to the end of time!
Anyway. It's amazing how quickly you can turn out a sweater . . . when you're True to Just One Project. Paradise. . . by the dashboard lights!
(Although, I must admit. By the end of the knitting. . . I was praying for the end of time. . . to hurry up and arrive!)
Ravelry details here.
==========
* I can't even count the number of times I belted this one out . . . into my hairbrush. . . with my college pals! Or even with Tom. Last week. In the kitchen. (But no hairbrushes.)

Oh, oh, oh!! I LOVE this sweater! I too fell in love at first sight when I saw this pattern. I wondered about Shepherd's Wool, too. Your sweater is perfect! You'll love it forever and wear it forever! Nice work! When it comes to sweater knitting, monogamy of project has great rewards!

That album is Oscar's go-to for household chores. We listen to it a lot, it never gets old. I like it too, but I am more likely to belt out Bohemian Rhapsody :-}

I hear you on the knitting monogamy...and I finished a cardigan last night because of it! That song is a classic at this house too. I love that you mixed it up a bit on the color selection for this one- it suits you to a T!

love it! I am an almost perfectly monogamous knitter and I have to agree even the biggest projects can get done faster than you would imagine.

This looks like one that you WILL love forever! Having used Shepherd's Wool I just know how soft and cuddly it is. Love it!

Wonderful sweater - the colors you chose are great.
I admit, though, that I don't remember that song at all. Not one tiny bit.

It's a great belting-out song! Dale is just a little too old for this one, though. Love the sweater, it's perfect for you.

I'm humming a Mary Poppins medley because your sweater looks practically perfect in every way!

love it! beautiful colors for a sweater (and not at all what that song conjures up!)... and it looks so great on you! (the joke in my knitting classes these past few weeks has been about "straight stockinette"...it can be a dream, but also a nightmare :-) (especially in the round!!)

What a great sweater - and great colors for you!
And now I'll have that song in my head - though since I'm off to bed, I can "sleep on it" - baby

What a great sweater! That is one you will wear and wear and wear and wear. And then Erin will borrow it and wear it and wear it and... you get the idea.
