love the cocktail suggestions on this week's lists - I think I need to fire up the blender! (oh, it is only 8:20 am though!)

There isn't a bad way to eat a strawberry. The sin is not to eat strawberries!

Beverly

You cracked me up with #10!

Carole

I love that you included that song!

Beth

#10 made me laugh!

Marilyn

I love 'em plain. But I also add them to rhubarb for rhubarb strawberry jam. Pretty yummy!

Vicki

I love berry season!!

Brenda

I loved strawberry ice cream until I became lactose intolerant, but now I love them almost plain--my husband sprinkles them with a little liqueur of some sort (it's a secret) and some orange zest.

Yikes! I hope I didn't miss it! (I haven't seen any local berries up here, so maybe they got nailed with our crazy Michigan weather. I'll check out the farm market this weekend.)

Cookie!

Does my Jenny like them?

Shot up with booze, dipped in chocolate and frozen.

I know I'm a day late, but I love your Ten on Tuesday post and I missed it yesterday. I love strawberries glazed with a squeeze of lemon juice and brown sugar with a touch of Grand Marinier and some orange zest. Serve over angel food cake topped with vanilla ice cream. One of my fave summer treats. Yum! Another thing I like to do with strawberries is to chill a bottle of my fave summer wine -a crisp riesling or a Portugese green wine- and dip the strawberries in the wine and eat them. Heavenly!
