That looks like a beautiful spot, I am thoroughly impressed with all those books. These posts are making me want to visit everyone! I'm sorry Tom is still away and I hope he will be home soon.

I am a tiny bit envious of your alone time, because I am never alone...but I know it gets old rather quickly, too.
Your knitting spot looks cozy, and a little bit like mine. Books, dogs, a globe and other tchotchkes, including knitting paraphernalia. I'm still looking for a comfy chair. Cozy is key!

Beth

Love the books! This looks like a wonderful place to spend an evening. So cozy and comfortable!

Marilyn

What a wonderful room to knit in! It just fits you, Kym. :)
Sorry the other chair is empty at the moment though...

Rachel

Excellent knitting place. I especially love the books and the Tom place :)

Oh and I see you are gartering right now too!

Vicki

Nice spot! Love it!! Hope Tom is set to return soon.

Patty

A wonderful world. That afghan is just beautiful! Wishing you company in that chair soon...

Nichole

Looks like a cozy spot!

kathy

What a fabulous spot! Thanks for sharing with photos.

Mary

pretty spot - all those books!!!! and love that there's no TV. one of the things I really love about marc being gone is that the TV isn't on much. (she types as she's about to log off the computer, turn on the TV, and knit!)

Dianne

That sounds idyllic!

Cynthia

I love your room Kym. And that couch looks so awesomely perfect for knitting. It sounds so idyllic and the right spot. So glad that your husband can sit there with you and just be with you.

Brenda

What a great place to knit! All I can see is sky out our windows when sitting. I hope Tom comes home soon! Michael has been away for a couple of days, and the house is so quiet without him; I feel like I should tip-toe.

I think you struck a chord with this post!

My first glance provoked the thought, "Ah yes, there is her fab-u-lous afghan..." And it didn't even make the cut! ; ) Looks nice and cozy, though (despite the afghan snub, ha! ha!), and I would be happy to soak up that sunshine any day.
